...from actively modding AoE3. Now you might ask: wait, didn't you leave active modding when you left Napoleonic Era back then?

Only kind of. In the last year, I returned to modding and worked on t ...

The fact that they have time to create new content between the gold master and actual release is true.

But they will add Pontus for the same reason as free DLC as the Mongolians were free DLC for C ...

I totally agree with CaPutt. I even loved it despite driving me mad sometimes (historical inaccuracies, bugs, some of the MMO stuff), but it was a fail nonetheless.

So, does RTW2 play before Alexander or after?

Parthians fighting Persians over Mesopotamia would be kind of awkward.

I hope they won't include Seleucids. One Greek faction is enough (just like o ...

Btw, one last note on the budget: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaDlihIqPws

At 09:14 the CA guy says they got a "huge budget" and it's "bigger than 40% than they have ever done befo ...

Sim City is too much a sandbox game for me. I prefer games like the Anno or Settlers (or Caesar) series.

I know that this is the primary intention, I understand it, but I still think it's a poor and unnecessary thing.

It certainly motivates some people, but tell me where the identification is in War ...

Not saying Iceni themselves couldn't make a nice faction, it's just that there are truly better candidates if you would care enough to give some more authentic foes of Rome on the same eye level. As ...

One of the most striking reasons why Iceni are surely in probably is, that they're from the British isles. After all CA is still a British studio AND, even though just playing a minor role: it's the ...

The assumption of horrible research and money driven design is just plain wrong. Nobody is going to buy Rome II just because there are Iceni in there. The Iceni are probably just the most known (even ...

Caputt, you're asking the wrong question if you ask whether the Iceni were more important than the other civs you mentioned.

The Iceni (like the Arverni) just stand as one tribe for their respectiv ...

AoK campaigns weren't that great. They were great for the time, but not with today's standards. There's lots of nostalgia in there.

The TAD campaigns were the best in the Age of Empires series so f ...

No, there's a card that enabled one or more civs to transport units via balloon. Certainly one of Alexastor's "jokes", doing something just because it's possible. I consider that too OP, the ...
