Stat difference is the greatest virtue of old AoE games, but sadly AoE 3 overhauls it.

I had thought of a smaller pop cap, as large army is a bit meaningless. Smaller or army that consumes resources bring complex game play. Complex means a more challenging gameplay.

Good, as Germany wasn't there in Napoleonic era (the historic one). "Germany" is really too conclusive. Perhaps it can be replaced by other non Germanic Countries.

Fortifications in AoE III are simply too fragile, and are less useful then what in AoC.
