Not as obvious as in other games. You might have techs and HC cards (i.e. Marian Reforms), but they won't be used as politicians or units I think. I just dont like it, the limited and euphemistic focus on historical personalities. They're humans like everyone else, so I also dont see any technical difference between Caesar and let's say a common Roman commander, and there have been a lot of commanders in the Roman empire.

So I'm sorry, but TAA is not really the stage for popular super stars of history. We do have heroes and they are extraordinary, but extraordinarily human. Wink

He was a great general, but also an arrogant human. I dont think he was the greatest though, it always depends on the context and the proportions. His success is not soley his work, but also the result of a well-equipped and well-trained macedonian army and good diplomats. It's a mistake to call that all his work.

I like the Centurions, so I think they're better than Caesar or whatever.

But u have Herosxxx as a hero for the Greeks, only in Scenario Editor, though

I once named a city after myself, a city after my mother, a city after my father, a city per each dog I own/owned, and a few cities for my heroes.

Then I took a break from playing Rise of Nations to eat dinner. coffee
