How organized are you?
I dunno, I just make loads of units and then pwn them.

My amies usually consist of heavy infantry backed up by a powerful navy (In Island maps). The bulk of my armies are Imperial Redcoats, with a few Imperial Field Guns, and Imperial Life Guards.

My late game armies consist of 2 groups of Imperial Redcoats, one usually with 10 or so Imperial Life Guards. Another unit is Redcoats with an average of 5 Imperial Field Guns. And the rest of my armies are native soldiers, and my unique units. (I wait until I'm at 200 population to get my Black Watch and Rogers Rangers.) That's usually back with the units I get with my Imperial Age advancement and natives soldiers when I have them.

My usual battle plan is to send one group in backed up by by navy, and another group waiting in the back to aid when possible. My town is always guarded by a full group of soldiers.

EDIT: Along with the Imperial upgrades for my redcoats, they also have the 3 Musketeer/Grenadier combat and HP cards from my Homy City.
My navy units have as well, every possible HP and attack boosting card from my Home City as well as the Admiralty card which increases build limit.

30 hussars and 20 carabineers crush everything Mr. Green (...if not, take 10 horse-arty as well)

I'm not too sure about the Russians, their main force are pretty weak, Strelets (to me) get destroyed in no time because of their weak health and damage. I'm not sure, but I think their Imperial units have about the same stats as a regular Musketeer.

I've tried to play with them, but to me, they are the weakest civilization.

You forget musketeers, halberdiers& pavlov grenadiers

But the oprichnik is the best of them--with imperial upgrade, they have 130 siege attack evil

Yes, the Russians do have them as well, but all in all, I don't like them, and in a open battle, 130 siege doesn't mean much with defeating other units.

Do not fight with oprichnicks, just evade enemy armies, and ruin as much of their town as you can

I play with Swedes, an army of 10 musketers, 2o Hand Cannoners, 20- 25 fusiliers, 15 Drabants, and 3 falkonetts, 3 mortars and an Imperial Cannon Surprised

Eh no, it is not as musketeers are basically ranged pikemen and fusiliers have an anti-cav bonus in melee. Devil

The Dude, don't Cuirassiers have an advantage to infantry. And I also think that light calvary do have (All of them I believe) an attack bonus versus infantry.

heavy infantry counters Cavalry in EVERY game(together with light infantry countering Heavy infantry it makes up the basic stone paper scissors of RTS). Some cavalry may be too heavy to counter easily but considering the price difference they actually are countered(you just need more HI). The basic concept of Heavy infantry is to have highest possible basic stats(health/armor, Damage) whereas light infantry often has range instead and cavalry has speed instead. Often this simple balance is "messed up" by cavalry costing significantly more and light infantry a bit less than Heavy infantry, which often gives the impression that cavalry(cuirrs) beats (heavy) infantry.
Musketeers have bajonetts which turns their muskets into Spears, Spears counter Cavalry - case closed.

socalled light cavalry(or better ranged cavalry) has a bonus against "light infantry" which in means Coyote runners(and eagly warrirors afaik) or in english: pseudo cavalry. since TAD melee cav has a small bonus against "infantry" and an identical malus against heavy infantry which in turn means a small bonus against non heavy infantry(thus skirmishers)
