Didnt in those time they had longbowmen? So I think they would fit a lot in one of the ancient nations dont you think?

Sure, they had lots of longbows. Not the british longbow, but there were similar bows with a similar range. Wink

Nah, they didn't. Celts had average archers. The superior bowmen of the antiquity are the Syrians, the Persians, the Indians and the Kretans.

Anyway, the longbows of AoE3 have nothing in common with elitary TAA archers.

The Sagittarius is indeed on of them. They're actually Syrian archers under Roman command. Sagittarius is just the latin term for 'archer'.

No, there was an island of Greece who had longbowmen instead of regular archers. I forgot the name of the island, but maybe it could be an upgraded archer for the Greeks ??? Mr. Green Mr. Green Mr. Green

Yeah, Crete, and I think the idea of Cretan archers has been taken into consideration in the past. Not sure if they're going to be in, though.

hm, cretan axemen would be better in my opinion, as the double-axe/ labrys http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Labrys was a object thing in crete.
