I unfortunately have none of them. Wouldn't you prefer email or MPs (if it's possible on this website)? MSN is not really a software I enjoy, but if you prefer it, I may try to download it.

Then better go with Skype. Wink It's not that "annoying" and I tend to be rather online in Skype than in MSN.

Then, you could do both another Swiss unit speaking French (like I plan to do too) and one or two units speaking Swiss German. I think the Swiss explorer should be a priority, since he must say more things than other units (wounded, ransom, reviving...). But I let Tilanus decide it Mr. Green

Ha, that answers the question in my PM then. Mr. Green

The French influences are great, because I also planned to show them in the shape of units like the Cent-Suisse (I know they're a home guard, but the Swiss Guard is too). After the divorce from the Holy Roman Empire, the Swiss had lots of connections with France and that will especially in their Revolution (Helvetian Republic) and later ages become very obvious.

I've no problem to make french voices if you're searching someone for it. You could make some Wink

Caveman, could you write here the Swiss German words a villager would say when he works? Maybe I'll try to record a Swiss German voice too if it's not too terrible. Remember, a villager must say the following things:
Lumberjack.
Merchant.
Builder/carpenter.
Hunter.
Gatherer/Forager.
Farmer.

Tilanus,
I installed Skype and sent you an invitation Wink

Perhaps fighting voices as well, never know if that might be useful though.

I know, don't worry^^ It's just that thanks to the Swiss pikeman, we know what followers should say besides their works. We know they'll have to say Ja? Bereit. Auftrag? Hallo! Richtig. Verstanden. Wird gemacht. Jawohl. Angriff!, plus their jobs.

Thanks again Caveman.
BTW, are you still up to record voices? If so, seeing as I recorded a Swiss French voice, two Romansh, and that I plan to record the Swiss German follower, what do you think about recording the Swiss explorer (in Swiss German I think)? Plus one or two Swiss French voices...

Just wanna be sure that the NE final will come out, Mr. Green
#i speak a little bit schwiizerdütsch, but not well...belongs to u Wink

Read the RM tutorials on the AoE3H website in the modding forum.

scenario editor not = RM

RM = code

For RM you use Notepad++ to edit the .xs file which is the actual RM and .xml file which is the ui for loading the RM in game if that gives you an idea.

I never knew that. I thought Swiss German was identical to the German spoken in Bavaria since they are right next to each other which is where my grandmother is from from Bavaria and what is now Czech Republic who talk me how to speak some German and she always says "Halo".

Of course, similarly to how the same language is spoken in Austria and Hungary, because they're right next to one another... Confused Confused

Austrian and Bavarian are pretty the same, but swiss german isn't. How near countries are doesn't make their languages the same as peugeot said, in particular in Europe.

The Austrian dialect spoken in Vorarlberg bears much more similarities with Swiss German than with Bavarian (and therefore most other Austrian dialects).

Aight! That's definitely awesome! I feel honored!

There are indeed some pending 3d tasks. Also, I know you're a good coder, which is fine, because currently there are no other coders active. So then we gotta have a chat in MSN soon! Wink

thx! nodding smileythumbs up!
