The Ent looks awesome!

I have a comment to make, it might sound disturbing or rude, but it's my opinion: both the olog-hai and the warg rider don't really work with the textures you made for them. This is not your fault, it's due to the AoE3 limitations, but I believe that fans of LotR have a standard view of these ''units'' and if they see them depicted in a different way, they'll feel weird. So, maybe, you should consider adding references to them through cards or techs or something similar, and not depict them through units. Again, this is just my suggestion.

Just as information.
1. Sauron has a man servant named the mouth of Sauron. You can see him in the film speaking to the fellowship in front of the black gate. He can be a somewhat special spy for them.
2. You can use the Aztec skull warrior for Olog Hai. Its size is quite big. Or Lao chen...
3. Orcs are said to be cannibals, and you could see them eating each other near the Fangorn Forest. A humanic or orc livestock could be a good thing for them. Besides, I never read them eat fruits in the book. So, maybe they can't gather from bushes or farm.

Yet, there is a problem with wolf, as they can't be attached with anything. So, warg is hard thing to do.

Also, what model do you use for Nazgul rider? I suggest you to use wokou rider. Its hair shaped like a cloak. And try to add japanese fog effect to it, to make it looks spooky. Removing the bumpmap might be a good idea to to make it really dark.

I understand your points, but the Warg rider is just too important. I will continue and try to improve the visual aspects of these units as much a I can.

He is featured in a card and is one of the people at the HC

I think a resized lao chen with the rodelero anims would be better...but I don't know how to resize models...

I also was puzzled on how they could gather food, but to not complicate things their infinite food source is the orc pit (I don't know maybe eating the weak orcs Razz) I also made a card called Cannibalism which is very useful.

Yes! I did use the wokou model (great minds think alike Mr. Green) The Japanese fog is a great idea...thanks!

Have you tried the Jaguar? I've seen it used for a particulary akward chariot.

Afaik you cannot resize in Aoe3, it was possible im AoM but they took that out along with all the other funky things. You could try attaching some decal/rock objects to him to make him look less human.

Remarkable what progress science has made, back in the old days such trickery was dismissed as magic.

So Robert, tell the tale :>

I don't know why I'm supposed to tell this, because I haven't got a clue how it works, but yes, I can confirm that misterscp managed to resize models while retaining working anims...

If that's not your thing though, you could always use the Iroquois War Chief, which is probably the largest human model in AoE3...

What about Warg instead of Warg Rider?
You can use a wolf model.

And again, I can help you balancing the civs, to make them unique and interesting.

I was going to have both. The Warg rider being a cavalry unit and the Warg being a treasure guardian/pet.

Very good, well done textures! (I saw your videos and good work!).
I just think that the soldiers must have more base attack to "recover" the lost population.

If you want to make a good tree house, try using Asian outpost or SPC fort tower.

Speaking about units, I have just realized you never use player color. Why?

Speaking about texture, while some units amuse me well, your buildings don't. For me, they are just EE and WE buildings desaturated with some li'l things added. Just a suggestion, try adding a geometric things like in the film.

The last, civ's bonus doesn't sound unique. Outside the culture's bonus, there is nothing change the gameplay wise of Lothlorien. Try to be wild.

If you have any ideas/suggestions please post them (like HC cards, units, politicians...) And if you can suggest better bonuses that would be nice since the current ones are...well...very generic and boring. Hope you like it and please tell me what you would like to see next.

Maybe your best civilization right now, it is more original, and I like your Noldor helmets. A possible card could be "The Land of the Singers", who gives you a great trickle of Xp. An other card could be "Realm of the High King", who makes the units stronger.

I hope to see the Kingdom of Arnor or Mirkwood next Wink
