Some ideas (some are not very original)

Goblins: The have a special type of outpost who is strong but they don't have upgrades, so they are weak in later ages (and could be captured), they also spawn Orc Spearmen every time, so they make an excellent rush but are weak in deffensive acts.

Lothlorien: I think is better to use Mallorns as small banks, and the forest wardens can also build traps for defense, but the traps must be close from the town center.

Arnor: The only civ with revolution. The revolutions are Cardolan and Rhudaur, when you turn into Rhudaur you go to the hands of Angmar and you can train orcs, and Cardolan can train hobbit type units. Arnor could have fewer villagers, but their buildings could have a food trickle to help in some aspects, so if you destroy their buildings, their economy is dead.

Woodland Realms (Mirkwood): Some UUs could be Forest Axeman (elvish axeman with a high bonus against heavy infantry) and Silvan Archer (a simple but with high attack elvish archer). Their Bonuses could be faster units and the buildings have a stealth bonus, so you must your explorer to find them.

Well, that is all, I hope you like it.

Still wonder this: If you post Saruman in age III, who will be the age V politician?

It's truly amusing the amount of spanish speaking modders. I can't recall any other game where we had a significant presence...

To be honest I would had expected Isengard to have an ability of auto-training Uruk Hai somehow, they were custom made for battle, so if anything there's where that mechanic would make the most sense.

I thought of doing that but in the end I chose that for Angmar.

How did you make Arnor weaker in the third age? There are weaker units?
And try to add golden details to the units.

Try using other animation for swordsman and pikemen, to make them works well. And I don't think gold is good for those units.

So I have not updated much lately. I have been busy with school, being a mercenary for another mod and some extended family visited me. I have several things that I don't know how implement.

Citadel Replaces the Town Center, has a build limit of 1. basic functions of the Town Center.

Orc age up The orc culture will age up by selecting an ally. After they research that tech, they have certain politicians enabled according to the ally they chose. They will always have at least one politician that is home and one that is from the ally. After you research the ally, it also enables a army (according to the ally ally you choose)

(example for angmar)

Misty Mountain allies: Goblin from the misty mountains (ally politician) , wandering snagae (home politician) and misty mountain army.

High pass allies: Goblin scribe (ally politician), wandering snagae (home politician) and high pass army.

It looks confusing but it is not. I just can't write it out well.

I don't know if I should just have the ally techs in the Town Center and the army enabled at the orcpit, or have another new building called "Orc camp"
which holds the ally techs and also where the armies are enabled.

Last civilization slot: There is currently one civilization slot that is not used (I have filled 13 of the 14 AI slots) and I am wondering if there should be another civilization to fill it. I don't want to force a civilization, but there are some eligible candidates. I currently have

Spoiler:

  • Angmar

  • Arnor

  • Dwarves

  • Goblins

  • Gondor

  • Harad

  • Isengard

  • Lindon

  • Lothlorien

  • Mirkwood

  • Mordor

  • Rhûn

  • Rohan

Possible civilization to fill the slot

  • Númenoréans

  • Rhovanion

  • Dale

  • Dol Guldur

Or suggest one.

Please send feedback (anyone who is interested)
And tell me what you would like me to showcase.
