What's your favourite gatherer?

Either Miner or Follower for me.

Strongest? I like miners because they're grenadiers. that build, and gather coin at a high rate. They are thee strongest gatherer in this game

Miners? Oh, yeah, they're cool because they construct buildings, throw bombs and gather coin fast, but can't gather other resources

they're cheap. They gather at about the rate of banks.

With a special tech they cost 96 food.

they can only gather coin, and they can't build very many buildings

Mind you, they are a MILITARY UNIT. They are grenadiers. They are very strong for their cost. 20 miner gives you huge boost in coin

They're a mix of a civilian unit and military, mind you, they are cheap for a grenadier. I think they're also 1 pop.

Provide very powerful plantations.
