Ok, so pretty much the only cards you need are 700 coin 1000 coin and 1000 food. So it is much better on deccan or other bonus res. maps.
AGE I: So, what you do, is gather all crates, put 4/5 sansoculotes on food and 1 on coin. Keep putting setts on food, and if u can build a house and a tp. When u have 300 coin (200 from crates + 100 coin from the sett) move that sett back to food. You might not get this in the first age. Once you have about 10 setts on food age up with 500 food. YOU SHOULD NOT SEND SHIPMENTS IN AGE 1.
Age 2: What you should do is put 3 setts on wood and rest on food. You should have 1-2 shipmetns by now, so send 700 coin shipment. Nobody should be on coin atm. get a few food setts to gather 700 coin and by then you should have around 1200 food. Age up with fast one. put a few setts however many u like on coin i suggest about 5. You should only send 700 coin, and no other shipments. BTW, u shud have made a few setts and put them on food. Trade some food for coin to get wood to build a Barracks/Achademny whatever its called
Age 3: Now that your in age 3, You should build a church. You will have 1-2 shipments depending on if you built a tp in age 1. If you didnt, you will probably have one. Send the card that says 1000 coin, then send 1000 food (food is optional, helps alot, but coin is essensial. By the time 1000 coin gets there, you should have about 300 coin, so trade some food for coin until you have 500 then gather the 1000 coin from shipment. Once this is done, you go to church and get the Merchantilism upgrade. You will have 4-5 shipments depending on other things. After this, start training Chasseurs and Grognards, Chasseurs first. If you send 1000 food, then it will be much easier to train Chasseiurs. Also, if you have enough resources, u can train some muskets after done with 10 chasseurs and 10 grognards.Then attack. Grognards take care of buildings instantly almost. Also, if u have any extra shipment, send the age 2 atk shipment. good luck and chargez.[/b]

6 minutes sounds good. However the "trade food for coin" and "upgrade card" sound ... a bit fishy, or rather not very FF like.

I meant that one.

Afterall the point of a FF is to "rush" the enemy with age 3 troops while he only has unupgraded age 2 units. Thus sending some age 3 units would sound more reasonable.

I can see the point about the Mercantilism.

Hmm well it will make the Chasseur atk from 65 to 72 if u send the age 2 attack shipment from home city, but not completely neccisary.

This build is outdated, you're better off going for a 5 huss semi- ff so you can distract opponent till you age/make units card order is usually 3v 700coin 700 wood, 8 crossbows OR 600 wood then 8/7 skirms then falcs and you get 2-3 trade posts during transition; not that hard. Also, the 700/600 wood helps in case you get rushed and need xbows/pike. Also, it helps you get a 2nd barracks/houses / market upgrades this is crucial in 1v1's Also, if you age up with a tower politician, place your tower near a LARGE herd so that you can garrison from raiders.

Having to resort to market just means your macro sucks, or you're being raided it is not needed for army if you have your distribution correct usually its 1-2 settlers on food to every 1 settler on coin(3 settlers on food for every 2 on coin. (And you need only 3 on wood for housing)

Mercantilism REALLY isn't worth the coin you can get more units and/or falconets! if you have just a few chasseur/gorngard they can be hit/run to death.

What he is saying is that if you take the 1500 Coins and spend it on other units, It might be better.

do keep in mind listening to the other peoples opinions and then altering ur strategy would probably only improve it....

true, true. but i figured out a way how to not have to use market, i altered it a bit. b4 i sent setts from coin Arrow food and had about 2 on coin, now i have about 7 so i get abt 500 when shipemtn arrives. anyway, now i mix in some artillery and occasional skirmies if it goes late.

i tried out this strategy and it sucks for the most part. if you have a swedish team mate who sends early artillery you can make 3-5 horse guns in the same amount of time while your team mate sends in infantry; also, the 3 cuir & 8 skirmisher shipment is useful
