Thanks Tillanus! Using Open BRF, Autodesk 3Ds Max 10, and Autodesk 3Ds Max 8 with expotron and granny2 plugins, now I have successfully extracted the model from the .brf module, exported the model to .obj, opened the .obj model in 3Ds Max 10 and saved as a .max, opened the .max in 3Ds Max 8, and exported to .gr2

It has no texture, but this is an experimental modeling.

Now my Charleville musket is ready to test in the scenario editor with a test unit when I install a clean install of AoE3, TWC, TAD, WotTA Gamma 1.01, The Throne Room, and the last safe patch of my GW mod tonight. I have to reinstall everything bc I messed my game up really bad "trying to mod what is hardcoded".

Will the scotish RM have natives? and if so will you guys need help with ideas, suggestions, textures...



@dieter be careful about where you post because Tilanus bans for life (well at least he did for iliander)

Sure! If you got any ideas or information, just let me know (maybe better find a thread about Natives for that). I already had a Clansman and a Scottish Musketeer in mind. Gotta see though how it could be differentiated from the Highlander Mercenary.

Are the mercenaries going to be fixed? if i recall Fulsier(from saloon) got 200+ attack upgraded fully which is ridiculous... Also, good job on the new stuff it looks amazing! I like the idea of NE Scotland, finally something other than new england. Another question, you posted that you were goind to change age names... does that mean renaming "Colonial Age" or re-choosing politicians?

Yes, they will be fixed and I intend to change the Age names, but Politicians are also being reworked. Wink
