Hello.

I'm new here. I have a problem with NE Mod. I installed the mod in my game but I had a mod installed before (Transparent IU) I uninstalled first my game (I have steam) and I make a clear install for age of empires 3. After that when I tried to install NE Mod a pop up window says "Napoleonic Era has been installed in your computer" I tried uninstall it on my Control Panel but I got the same error. Somebody knows How I can fix it?

Thanks! Crying or Very sad

Wait, I don't get it Confused Is the problem that you can't install NE, or that you can't remove it?

This message only appears if you installed NE before and didn't use the uninstaller.

Thanks for reply! My problem is when I tried to install again. I don't know if this problem is because I dn't unistall first NE mod before my AoE game. I removed the mod from my Control Panel/Unistall Programs but when I try to install again the mod the same message appears! "NE Mod has been installed in your computer" Maybe is a problem with reg?

You can try running a trusted registry cleaner. You may also check if the removed files are still in your recycle bin. If they are, you can restore them and run the uninstaller as supposed.

If you can not install Napoleonic Era and Windows tells you that "Napoleonic Era has already been installed on your computer", you did not uninstall a previous Napoleonic Era installation properly.

We did care to build a real installation and uninstallation setup. So please use it! Napoleonic Era is not being uninstalled when you only remove the files.

To be able to reinstall Napoleonic Era again, an entry that our setup adds to your Window's registry needs to be removed. The usual pathes for 64-bit and then 32-bit systems is:

Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Napoleonic Era
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Napoleonic Era

You can either remove this key manually by typing regedit into the Windows start menu or download our Registry fix that does the same (unpack and double-click to run).

Thank you very much!!!! Works now!!!!!!! Mr. Green
