Okay, because I'm getting tired of long answers, here a quick Q&A:

Bonjour Empereur !

In the first , thank you for working on this mod.
This is one of the best mods I could try. Now i play just with NE. The work done is huge ! Amazing !
The work done for the new civilizations is very well done. Prussia became my favorite civilization. thank you very much !

Thanks a lot, you're welcome. Mr. Green

@Algeria
Another fan has made exactly the same (or at least a very similar) suggestion. While I have my doubts, I offered him to develop a civilization outline. If you send me your google account ID, I can share the doc with you.

@Egypt
I have as much (or even more) doubts about this than the Barbary States. Not every state/Ottoman province that was subject of Napoleon's wars qualifies as major civ.

@Age of Colonization
Nope, these countries are out of time. Even though I agree it'd remove the many archaisms and anachronisms the TWC civs create.

@No European Revolutions
I'd rather prefer more appropriate choices for Revolutions than none.

@"Cockade flag"
A cockade is a cockade, not a flag.

@Mexico, Canada, Korea
No.

After all, what do people want? Uniqueness! ... right?

That's incomplete. Our fans want unique historical entertainment for free without great sacrifices to balance, credibility and fun.

Silmariel wrote:
Btw: my vote for the next major Civs is San Marino. You cannot have a European-themed mod without San Marino!

Accepted! Great suggestion!

@Swiss being taken out of nowhere
This is not true. The idea to add Swiss were taken from a mind of a crazy Swiss gamer who befriended the mod founder. Without the Swiss, there would be no NE.

@Italy being a bit historically inaccurate
Yes, sadly. However, in the end all historical gaming is the production of historical fiction. It's just the ingredients should be credible and appropriate. I will fix wherever fixes are due. Accumulation of numerous smaller states to one playable big civ is nothing unusual though (Germans, anyone?), I also don't know if it says anywhere in the game that the civs is showing a unified Italy.

@Lack of European natives
Maltese, Finns, Westphalians, Wurttembergers, Bavarians are all Europeans, but you are right and we will add more European natives.

@African natives
Well, Tuareg, Barbary Pirates and Egyptians are Africans, but I see what you mean.

@My answer
Actually this would be James' job, but he yet is a padawan. Learn more he must!

I would have to say game balance. it's certainly not the sexiest thing to improve on, but it's what makes the game more fun when playing multiplayer. considering most users play online, I think it would be a good investment to make the game more balanced/fair over all.

It is pretty sad to see that only a few people care about the music. Sad

Could you explain a lil more what exactly you mean with that?

I do not know if it is possible, but try to make use of the announcement page in-game when you log on to eso.

I have a lot of ideas to help flesh out the Persian civ if that's still in the works. Been doing a huge amount of research into 18th century Persia recently and noticed there are a few historically accurate units that could be added in or swapped out for the existing ones. Also they have no shortage of famous buildings built in the Safavid era that could serve as wonders.

We will use our next to be released civ selection tool for special announcements.

You're invited to take part in this discussion of the Persian civ then. Sadly, the game permits the addition of new wonders. I would still be eager to get to know your suggestions for wonders though, since we might find other ways to realize a similar age-up. Smile
