Yes, many villagers is never ever a bad thing, as long as you can afford them.

You often can with Austria Devil

Reason which I never did good with Austria, I only train from 35 to 45 villagers and go all for offensive

What's going on with you? Mass Grenzers > everything except Cuirassiers and Saxon Cavalry!

Grenzers > infantry

NO, think of it, pikes, swiss guards, some ranged infantry and of course artillery, some blows of a heavy cannon throw away your army

no Wink
Grenzers can train themselves and they have x3 against infantry and x4 against artillery! They have also 20 range and and can use stealth....
and they are skirmishers, so you need hand-cavalry to win agains them and swiss just have weak hussars...

I don't think so, and even so, I could use swedes (another of my favorites) to squash you with drabants if that was the case, and besides, grenzers are weak and due to the economical main purpose of austria, you won't be able to make a large army, I usually make three full fledged armies before I attack, and before attaccking I have a force (rather big) defending the base, austria couldn't win that easily just by massing grenzers

Wait: We were talking about Austria vs. Swiss and not about Sweden...
Against Sweden you have to do something completly different...(infinite dragoons)!
The thing is: You aren't using Austria's aggressive potential so if I play Austria you won't be able to train a big army because my huszars are going to destroy your economy...
Austria is like Russia: lots of cheap units! And with raiding you will win (nearly) always!

Do you wnat to have a match? This weekend? I will show you AEIOU (latin for "all earth is tributary to Austria")!

Ok I accept the challenge, and even with the Swiss I could beat down Austria, you won't be able to smack down my economy so easily
