Hello,
Are there existing translations of the mod, even unfinished where it is possible to contribute?
And how can i make a translation myself?
I think translations are a great way to improve the mod.
I can make a german translation (native speaker).
If there is a way to translate it let me know

Hey Hellpaw, welcome to the forum and thanks for your interest to help translating the mod! Mr. Green

Translating a mod like NE is a tough job requiring perseverance. What were the longest things you translated so far? And what's your affinity to very simple code?

Since I'm currently changing a lot of strings in the code, it's not the best moment to start with a complete translation. However, the stringtable is long enough and there are sections I most likely won't be touching at all. So I could give you these sections both for the start and as a test for your skills. Smile

Hey Tilanus,
I coded a bit in java, python and processing, just verry simple things (Basic array lists, functions and randomazier). So i know the basics. My english knowlege is B2 (normal german abitur). I have to work with english textes for seminar papers in my studies on the university but this are no direct translations.

That'll be sufficient. ^^ Most of the AoE3 files are plain XMLs. NE is using the randommapstringsn.xml in the data folder. Maybe you want to have a look first Mr. Green
