!st, I wanna say hello! Basic question: How did u find this site?

they have some ideas, but new ones are always welcome.

Of course, HCs with cards, like in the classic AOE III, but Tilanus (one of the guys that creates this mod) said that will be harder to put HC animations.

welcome to ne.elpea.net

well well well, as said before, Yes we are using the card system although we'll have static backgrounds rather than nicely animated real 3d cities mainly beecause we lack sufficient models.(don't anyone dare to suggest the Ossuary!!!!!) and as far as I know we've already have a whooping great amount of tech names(for romans and Hellens). in fac we just simplified the blacksmith techs which lead to a overflow of armor and weapon upgrade names which "have to be" transferred to the HC. but if you do have some great tech ideas I'm not the one to stop you from suggesting them Wink

There have already been workouts for Roman cards, however, I do not have them yet.

Roman trebuchets? Are you kidding? Neutral The trebuchtet is hardly an ancient siege weapon. Are you sure you're some kind of expert? What do you mean with "a lot"?

Trebuchet was roman, but East-roman, which probably Tilanus refered too.
However he were actually a bitright there. Wink

you forget that the romans brought us many things that we hav today. trebuchets were roman originally, they were one of the first civilizations to work with ''tortion'' , which i might add would be a good tech for siege weapons. Did you know that a Roman Centurion was not a type of troop but an officer? in chrge of about 80+ men? there were also higher ranking centurions as well. Finally, Will you be integrating Praetorians into the game or will it be set earlier than that? Smile

LOL. I know all that, you don't how many times I've put into researches. By the way, it's called "torsion". Harkimo is also right here, the trebuchet is a "east roman" invention, correct would be: A bycantine invention, after the fall of the Roman Empire, in the middle ages.
