High siege attack (42 or more), decent melee attack. Like much weaker petards that don't die after a siege attack. Also cheaper.

dont like sappers, I am anti-suicide attacks....which is why im particularly hesitant to launch a "Forlorn Hope"

I don't know the full stats, but if it is 42 they are pretty strong, especially since they (I think) have a dmg bonus vs buildings and 1.5 in ROF.

They do not die after attacking, since all they do is hit the house with a shovel.

They are, as I said, exellent for sneaking behind the lines; they'll cause confusion.

ooooh, sappers, I was thinking petards lol

I LIKE those guys, with ten you can demolish a fort in no time, but I only use them if I need to take out some posts and towers early on, after that its all about the cannon

yep, they rock vs buildings, but u must protect them with some musketeers against enemy units...

Petards are good for an all out charge, Japanese monks get very powerful in the industrial age.

Their bombs do 1600 damage and they don't die.

Since this is a thread about Sweden, I should also mention that the card that gives your culverine a mortar like attack against buildings is devine. Cool
