Kroppkakor is pretty much the same as knödel, for you continental folks. It's ok, but I don't think it's fantastic. We eat them with molten butter and lingonberry jam.

That's... weird. 5 meatballs? That ain't shit. Even with the oversized meatballs they serve in school.
True, it's shit-to-be, after is has passed through the digestive system. And I don't know about oversized. Regular mamma-Scan sized.

Making salad is hardly cooking Devil

But I'm sure she makes tasty food as well Wink

That's no fun I guess. I love filled meatballs and it'd be a downer for my satisfaction if they were too large to be eaten at once.
I sometimes make 'flat meatball', essentially an entire batch's worth that you just smear out like a cake in the pan. After you've flipped it you put on a load of creme fraiche. It's actually one of my favourites. It's easy to fill as well, as you just cut whatever size piece you want.

Much too large to eat in one piece though Mr. Green

After ten people had been eating leftovers on the 26th, there was plenty of place to put the fig marmalade.

Spoiler:

Not.

You could be a green grocer for a week with that...

Well, unfortunately, that's how most Swedes' homes look like. Bloody smörgåsbord.

By the way, what are those things beneath the Bregott?

We actually had fewer thins than usual this year. We did for instance skip the ribs, my favourite.

We took the picture of the fridge before we had put everything in it. lol But it is less than it appears to be: much of it is gone by now. But it did look a bit comical.

The thing beneath the bregott is potatoes. Needless to say we did not have potato for ten people left over, so we made some more. In the oven, for simplicity. Wink

Potatoes? Well, the more you know.

We always say we're going to make less food next year, but then comes winter ^^

The more you know indeed. It's fun to spy in other people's fridges Devil

I would have asked what's in the white bowl between the cheese and the mustard on the bottom shelf. Because I honestly don't know what it is Confused

Christmas is only once a year. Why wouldn't you allow yourself to make a feast once a year? It's not like the fridge constantly looks like that.

It's supposed to be winter now. Some natural insolation isn't hurtful Devil Plus, the colder weather means you need to maintain a higher metabolic rate to keep the correct body temperature. Razz You don't get fat from a yearly feast.

The gym would typically make you put on weight as well. Muscle rather than fat, but still. lol

Nice, juicy Harkimo drumsticks marinated... Don't you give me any ideas! Mr. Green

lifestory Spoiler:

That year when my foot hurt one of the few things I could do without excessive pain was to ride a bike. So, the school got one for me, so I could do something for PE. A used one, slightly broken. It made a sound as if you would put a ping long ball inside a tin canister and shake it. The sound drove me mad. I spent pretty much all lessons that year alone in a poorly ventilated basement room pedalling that bike.

Now I cringe at the thought of them lol

What? Confused I don't get the joke. Uh-huu Sad I think I might put on my flannel pyjamas, grab a tub of ice cream, curl up in the couch and cry to some Australian drama series Crying or Very sad

Speaking of ice cream: what's everyone's favourite flavour? Smile

I know what mine is - and from what I understand it often wins surveys where people get to taste different flavours and pick. However, it's far from the most sold one.

Depends...

I love Chocolate, but I prefer the brownie one (that is made of chocolate, duh) rather than the Chocolate ice cream. Vanilla is too...."vanilla", I mean, to simple. Also like Macadamia nuts, and cherries.
