NE will make changes in existing Euro Civs by introducing new units & techs. That would make them strong. So what about Asians & Natives. How they would be balanced? New units or something like that for them or not?

ne focuses on the napoleanic wars, which didn't involve asia or north america for the most part
the civs are changed, but added features include advantages and disadvantages, so it remains balanced

Also, all of the civilizations from the expansions alredy are very unique, so some people feel that it is worth more effort to make the European ones a little bit more unique.

Making Euro unique is alright but Asians & Natives should not be ignored otherwise it would become unbalanced. Lets see what is going to happen in NE new version.

Unbalanced? What do you mean? NE does after all focus on Europe, it would make the most sense to build on those nations.

The native americans have some new stuff, but the asian civs does not.

I don't think it is very likely that that will change, if you look at the overall status of the project Sad

New stuff for Native Americans. Then its OK. Indians & Jap are already considered OP. But they must not forget Chinese.

I am not talking about uniqueness. My point is about balancing. Adding something to Europeans will improve them. So what will be done to make them balance so they don't get a huge advantage ?

No, it will not nessecarily improve them, simply make them more diverse and unique.

Most factions only get one or two extra units, which isn't that much if you look at the number of units they have in common alredy. I don't think it gives them an unfair advantage.

Of course things need to be balanced, but you can do that by giving any new units proper stats.

No ! They are not OP. In the first 10 mins, it is very hard for them to rush unlike most of the civs. Though they have a good late game.

And Sioux are very interesting. Their Dog Soldiers & Rifle Riders ROCKS ! Aztecs are my favourite along with the Ottomans.

If you want to edit you post, press "edit", not quote Wink Double posting is forbidden in most situations. Smile

The fact that the chineese is waek the first 10 minutes, I don't know if I would agree totally, but even so, it is part of a larger balance system.

Every nation must have advantages and disadvantage, it would be very dull if they were all very streamlined.

Simply, fi you don't think that China is a good rush civ, don't use them for rush Rolling Eyes Bide youre time and you will perhaps be stronger than your enemy after some time has passed. Every nation has its playing style.
