hmm... Mounted Rifleman should take 1 pop. and let his HP, attack, etc. how they are. maybe a little bit faster.

I like Spamming the marine. The cowboy band card is amazing. Free mercenaries.

Smuggler ship is a good naval card. Another way to spam the Marine.

grenadiers that can mine. Very good defence. For an ultimate siege, there is a card that turns all of your miners into petards.

Immigrations cards=awesomeness, especially the dutch (send you a bank, then another one in Imperial) and the Chinese (increase pop space by 20). I also love how the Miners and frontiersmen later become your ultimate defenders once they become obsolete gatherers. I agree with the MR cavalry problem, they are rather weak, but Marine spam tends to balance it out, since all you need is food for them, hell it makes the Russian units expensive

Agreed. The marines are a bit too cheap to spam.

The Marine should get unique upgrades.
