questions:
1)the playable civs will only be greek and romans?
2)when is this mod going tobe released(or is t maybe already relesed)?
3)to which years(exactly)is this mod relevant?
4)will the NE be also playanle if i download TAA?

suggestions:
1)hellenes should have spartans, macedonian phalanxes(trained at groups of 10 and athenian hoplites, but no cavalry

P.S the sfendonetes idea is great
P.S2 i am greek btw if you need any help

1.that's the beta release, the full version will also feature Celts Carthagians and Persians.

2 When it's done!

3 we don't have specific events that limit the timeline so you could say from 1000 bc until the first few centuries ad

4 If you install it correctly yes

Hellenes have hoplites, they can train Phalangitai, they have acess to sparitates but as a) even in hellas nobles fight on horseback b) there were horses in greece and c) macedonia was famed for it'S cavalry, well yes they will have cavalry and even use it more than the romans.

In the first version, yes.

Hopefully soon.

That's hard to say cause all civs didn't exist for the same time. Romans start at the end of the Roman Kingdom and will reach with the fifth Age a period that was approximately around 300 AD. The Hellenic timeframe begins and ends clearly earlier.

Each, NE and TAA, requires an unmodded (copy of the) AoE3 folder.

They will have cavalry of course.

They existed, thus we had no choice.

Same conditions for everyone. You need to prove that you're good enough. If you want that ask for an aptitude test. Me and Ca Putt (responsible for Hellenes) will name you a subject which you'd have to research then. The entrance examination for researcher is hard, we require at least progressed knowledge, basic school knowledge is not enough. Wink

good to know It was most annoying when a guy from Greece once wanted to correct names for Siege engines while forgetting that there are significant differences between ancient and modern greek. bwwww as non-greek I had to doublecheck that. ^^
thank you, well It's more or less my job to find accuate names and units, were trying to be as accurate as possible while maintaining a good gameplay.

yes, that is true but that does not mean that there was no cavalry

Never heard of the Companion Cavalry/Hetairoi? I think you need to check your sources.

if need be we can voice them ourselves as we have some fancy tutorials on ancient greek military commands^^
but you could send us a voice sample as even more important than knowing the language the game needs is an appropriate voice. Smile
